How does the compliance scoring work?

I'm curious about how PaletteCheck calculates compliance scores. What factors are considered? - Color usage? - Typography? - Logo placement? - Spacing? How are violations weighted?

PaletteCheck's compliance scoring considers multiple factors:

Scoring Factors:
  1. Color Compliance (30%): Are approved brand colors used correctly?
  2. Typography (25%): Do fonts match brand guidelines?
  3. Logo Usage (20%): Is the logo placed and sized correctly?
  4. Spacing & Layout (15%): Are margins, padding, and spacing correct?
  5. Image Quality (10%): Are images high-resolution and properly formatted?
Violation Weighting:
  • Critical violations (wrong colors, incorrect fonts): -10 points each
  • Major violations (logo issues, spacing problems): -5 points each
  • Minor violations (small spacing issues, minor formatting): -2 points each
Scoring Formula:
  • Start with 100 points
  • Subtract points for each violation
  • Final score = max(0, 100 - total deductions)
What's a Good Score?
  • 90-100: Excellent compliance
  • 70-89: Good compliance (minor issues)
  • 50-69: Needs improvement
  • Below 50: Significant violations

The detailed analysis report shows exactly which violations affected your score.
