Some colors weren't extracted from my brand guide

After uploading my brand guide, I noticed that only 3 of my 8 brand colors were extracted. The missing colors are definitely in my PDF - they're shown as swatches on page 4. Why weren't they captured? Is there a way to fix this without re-uploading?

This happens when colors are shown visually without text values. Here's how to fix it:

Why Colors Get Missed:
  • Color swatches shown as images only
  • No hex/RGB values in text format
  • Values embedded in graphics rather than text
Quick Fix - Add Manually:
  1. Go to your Brand Guideline
  2. Click Edit on the Colors section
  3. Click Add Color
  4. Enter name, hex code, and usage notes
  5. Save

No need to re-upload the PDF!

For Future Uploads:
If you can edit your PDF, add a text line next to each swatch:


Brand Blue: #1E40AF
Brand Green: #059669

The AI picks up text values much more reliably than trying to analyze color images.

Pro Tip: Add RGB, CMYK, and Pantone values too if you have them - helpful for different use cases!
